Central China Real Estate Limited is a investment holding company, The Company along with its subsidiaries is engaged in property development in the People's Republic of China. The principal activities of the Company and its subsidiaries are property development, property leasing and construction. As of December 31, 2009, the Company had 26 projects/phases under construction with total gross feet area of approximately 1.30 million square meters, and had land reserves of 9.86 million square meters. On March 12, 2009, the Company entered into a sale and purchase agreement pursuant to which Countrystar, in which the Company has a 65% interest, agreed to dispose a 100% equity interest in Wanda & Central China Retail Mall (Luoyang) Company Limited, which holds a property development project in Luoyang.
As of December 31, 2009, the Company had acquired 95% interest in Artstar Investments Limited.
